Wow!

WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!

And we close on December 22nd – thats in three weeks!

Holy cow, this is all happening so fast 🙂

Now that it’s official, here are some pictures of our NEW HOUSE 🙂

Living Room

Kitchen (the countertop isn’t as ugly in person as it looks here)…the kitchen has enough room for a table and there’s a sliding door to the left out to the backyard.

Second Bedroom (AKA my YARN room!)

Third Bedroom, will be the guest room probably…sliding door out to backyard

new-house-garage-den.jpg
Den/extra room, Adam will probably use this for his office and for his police supplies. The current owners made this room from the back half of the garage, the front half of the garage is a workroom/storage area that opens from the outside with the regular garage door.

I love this house…We’re still waiting to see if the current owners will vacate when we close on the 22nd or if they will want to rent for a month or two until they find a place. Stay tuned! I’ll print pictures to bring up to Rochester next week.

….we got a HOUSE! 🙂

  3. It looks awesome guys!! We found our house in Colorado the first day we started looking, too and that turned out great. I remember being in your shoes. We were 25 and not married when we bought our first house. I kept thinking “are we adults now or something”?!! It was scary and there were a lot of sleepless nights…I cried all through the closing! In the end though, it was the best decision we ever made. Just try to relax (easier said than done) and enjoy the process. Things will go up and down during the mortgage process, new issues coming up here and there. Just remember that the mortgage company wants to get you a loan just as much as you want one, so let them go crazy..not you! I do have a great friend that is a broker if you need one.
In any case, teh house looks great. The first thing Brady said when he saw the pictures is “I GET TO SWIM IN THEIR POOL”!!! And he can when you guys keep them every other weekend! HA! Here’s my email address, keep in touch. bradybugsmom@yahoo.com

  4. The house looks awesome! Congratulations.

And the teal counter tops don’t look bad at all. Not something I would have forever and ever, but definatly livable. 🙂

Hope all is well. glad you made it home safe. it was great to see you again.

    talk to you later…
